Members of the Bloomington Kennedy girls swim and dive team surround a Post 550 big check for $10,000 at the team’s annual banquet, which was held at the Bloomington Veterans Center on Nov. 27. The post helped with the cost of a new scoreboard. The school district’s swimming scoreboard was woefully behind the times compared to other teams in the conference.
The Bloomington American Legion Post 550 shuttle bus was ready and waiting to take the Bloomington Honor Guard to the official Minnesota Veterans Day Program on Nov. 11.
