Pat Cliff Award

Bloomington Post 550 was named the 2025 recipient of the prestigious Pat Cliff Award on Friday. The award is given annually at the American Legion Department of Minnesota Convention to the post that does the most to assist struggling veterans.

Entering the contest is done by sending in the annual Post Service Officer report. There were 69 contestants. The winner is not just based on how they did this past year but also based on a great track record of assistant veterans in need.

We don't always tout it, but Post 550 goes to great lengths to help veterans in our part of the woods.
