Sponsored by Post 550, Liam Carroll of Minneapolis won the 10th District Oratorical Contest and competed in the State Oratorical Contest in Anoka on Feb. 28. He didn’t make the final four, but judges were impressed with the Jefferson High sophomore. Here he shakes hands with Post 550 Commander Blaine Beste, who served as a judge for the state finals.
